The Anti-Kosmik Magick

Dark mother of the endless sea
I bow down to kneel before thee
I shake and I tremble in thy sight

Companion to the ancient ones
Your darkness is like a thousand suns
Pain and doom in the light of the moon

On the steps to the burning grounds
I was lost but now I am found
No more shall I hang my head in shame

The ash and smoke take my breath away
And as my blood starts to mix with the clay
I tear these chains away

Horror and laughter
Cyanide and wine
Dark possession, my life is thine

On the steps to the burning grounds
I was lost but now I am found
No more shall I hang my head in shame

The ash and smoke take my breath away
And as my blood starts to mix with the clay
I tear these chains away

Lake Mungo

Since my water vibe continues to be strong I chose to watch a horror movie that had something to do with water. Lake Mungo seemed ok, I've read some mixed critics and wanted to figure out what was it all about. And so... I didn't hate it, but neither did I like it. I actually think there are quite a few lose ends to this movie and that it probably would fit better the drama category than the horror one. Anyway... good luck for me the next time Im trying to find horror related to water...

My Destiny

Good night :)

Leaves' Eyes: Water inspired music

The second I decided that I wanted to hear a metal band that had great songs about the sea, Leaves' Eyes popped into my mind. After hearing "The Tale of the Sea Maid" over and over on my ipod, I went through their records and re-discovered them. Long sea journeys that keep lovers away,  mythical underwater creatures, the adventure of sailing away or just the impressive ocean, are recurrent themes on this great band's lyrics (they even have one album called Njord, after the norse god of the sea). Also, the title of their latest album "Meredead" is a word Liv came up with that means dead by/in the sea.
I love the gorgeous Liv Kristine, there's a certain melancholy to her voice that makes it so beautiful :)
