The Innkeepers

With my finals over, I finally had the chance of watching Ti West's "The Innkeepers". I loved it! I know many people havefound it a bit dull and slow, but for me it had every single element a good ghost movie needs to have. Sara Paxton is lovely, though I found her character a bit annoying to be honest. And even when the first part of the movie was indeed a bit dull, the last 30 minutes made it up for me, completely. The 70's vibe to Ti West's movies is something I really adore. "House of the Devil" was amazing, but since I'm a sucker for ghost movies, I have to say I liked this one better.

Lake Mungo

Since my water vibe continues to be strong I chose to watch a horror movie that had something to do with water. Lake Mungo seemed ok, I've read some mixed critics and wanted to figure out what was it all about. And so... I didn't hate it, but neither did I like it. I actually think there are quite a few lose ends to this movie and that it probably would fit better the drama category than the horror one. Anyway... good luck for me the next time Im trying to find horror related to water...
